2020 Ford Explorer Brings New Options and Features

Even though 2019 is fresh, automakers always plan ahead. Ford is no exception, and 2020 vehicles are starting to take shape. One such model is the 2020 Ford Explorer, which is set for a complete refresh to bring the next-generation of new vehicles from Ford to the forefront.

Among the new features the 2020 Explorer will have includes an available 10-inch touch display, with standard FordPass™ Connect to give you access to vehicle diagnostics, location, and the ability to start, lock/unlock it remotely. With that display, you're also going to have an infotainment hub where you can connect your device and enjoy many different features. There's also set to be an available Wi-Fi network, with 10 devices able to connect and a 50-foot range outside the vehicle so you can set up shop and not miss a beat.

Performance features also will include safety like Ford Co-Pilot 360™ with multiple driver assistance features, along with Terrain Management System™ onboard with seven drive modes for conditions from rock and sand to snow, which comes in handy around the New Haven area as we'll see all kinds of weather.

The big new reveal is that there will be a new trim available. It's the Ford Explorer ST, which will add a 3.0-liter EcoBoost® engine to ramp the power up to 400 horsepower, and give you sporty, high-performance driving along with different features that give it a unique look. The all-new Explorer Hybrid will make its debut too, with a 500-mile driving range to enjoy an efficient SUV.

We'd be happy to highlight all our new Ford vehicles which includes the current 2019 Explorer and set up a test drive soon.
