2022 Ford Edge Towing Capacity & Performance
Hit the road with the level of power you’re looking for — you can choose between two stellar EcoBoost® engines on the 2022 Ford Edge. Intelligent AWD is standard equipment throughout the Edge lineup to ensure you can take on inclement weather with ease. The four-cylinder EcoBoost engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, while the V6 EcoBoost engine is equipped with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Both transmissions feature a rotary gear shift for smoother shifting.
In terms of towing, the Ford Edge can tow up to 1,500 pounds. If you select the Class II Trailer Tow Package with sway control, you’ll receive a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds.
